Carl Farah is a bilingual civil litigation lawyer born, raised, and practising in Ottawa. He founded Cedarwood Law on the belief that clients deserve honest advice and a lawyer who is genuinely invested in the outcome, not just the process.
His career has taken him through firms of every size, from large national practices to smaller local firms. That range gave him a clear sense of what clients need at every stage of a dispute: someone who listens, thinks carefully, and tells them the truth about where they stand.
Carl completed his J.D. through the University of Ottawa’s French Common Law Program and serves clients across Ontario in both English and French. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Chemistry and a Master of Biology at the University of Ottawa.
He has worked on a range of commercial, employment, and real estate litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, and urgent court applications. His experience spans both negotiated resolutions and court proceedings, giving him a practical view of how disputes evolve from start to finish.
Outside the office, Carl can be found hiking Ottawa’s trails, playing sports, and spending time with his dog, Molly.
